Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 19, 2026

1. Introduction

My Tech Wizards, LLC (“My Tech Wizards,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit www.mytechwizards.com (the “Site”), contact us, or engage our managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, and consulting services (the “Services”). It also describes the choices and rights you have. By using our Site or Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to information we process as a business about website visitors, prospective clients, and business contacts. When we deliver Services to a client, we often access or process data on that client’s behalf and under their instructions. Our handling of that client data is governed by our service agreements and any applicable Data Processing Addendum, and by the client organization’s own privacy notices — not this Policy. See Section 11, “Client Data and Confidentiality.”

3. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Information you provide. Your name, business name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and the details of your message when you complete a contact or quote form, request a consultation, subscribe to communications, or email or call us.
  • Scheduling information. When you book a meeting through our online scheduling tool, the information you enter (such as name, email, and meeting preferences) is collected to arrange your appointment.
  • Information collected automatically. Your IP address, browser type, device and operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and the dates and times of access, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).
  • Analytics and marketing data. Aggregated usage and engagement information from analytics and marketing platforms we use to understand and improve our Site.
  • Client engagement data. Business and technical information necessary to deliver our Services, as described in Section 11.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as government identifiers, health information, or financial account numbers) through our Site.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries, provide quotes, and schedule consultations;
  • Deliver, maintain, support, and improve our Services;
  • Manage our relationship with clients and prospects and send service and administrative communications;
  • Send marketing communications where permitted, from which you may opt out at any time;
  • Analyze and improve our Site, Services, and customer experience;
  • Maintain the security and integrity of our systems and detect, prevent, or investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents; and
  • Comply with our legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

5. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA and UK)

Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process personal data on one or more of the following legal bases: your consent; the performance of a contract with you; our legitimate interests in operating, improving, and securing our business (balanced against your rights and freedoms); and compliance with our legal obligations.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and support our marketing. These generally fall into three categories: strictly necessary cookies, performance and analytics cookies, and functionality and marketing cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect Site functionality. Where required by law, we obtain your consent before setting non-essential cookies.

7. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed with the following categories of recipients:

  • Service providers and sub-processors that support our Site and operations — including website hosting, email delivery, contact-form processing, appointment scheduling, customer-relationship and email-marketing platforms, analytics, and backup providers. These parties are contractually bound to use information only to provide services to us.
  • Professional advisors such as our legal, accounting, and insurance providers, as needed.
  • Authorities and other third parties when required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, property, safety, and security of My Tech Wizards, our clients, or others.
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.

Representative categories of providers we rely on include cloud and website hosting services, Microsoft 365, website form and scheduling tools, customer-relationship and email-marketing platforms, and web analytics services. A current list of our sub-processors is available on request.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to maintain our business relationship with you, and to comply with our legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. Data we process on behalf of clients is retained according to the applicable service agreement.

9. Data Security

As a security-first IT firm, we apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encryption of data in transit, endpoint protection, monitoring, and least-privilege practices aligned to recognized frameworks such as NIST and CIS. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you; request that we correct or delete it; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; request a portable copy; and opt out of marketing communications. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 14. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know about and access the personal information we collect, to request correction or deletion, to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. My Tech Wizards does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that trigger the right to limit. You may exercise your rights yourself or through an authorized agent by contacting us as described in Section 14. We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding.

EEA and UK Residents (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the rights described above and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we do so only with appropriate safeguards where required by law.

11. Client Data and Confidentiality

When My Tech Wizards provides managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, or consulting Services, we may access, store, or process data within a client’s systems and accounts. In that role we act on the client’s behalf and under their instructions, treat that data as confidential, and use it solely to deliver and support the Services and as permitted by our agreements. The client organization remains responsible for the personal data within its environment and for providing any required privacy notices to its own users and customers. Our processing of such data is governed by the applicable service agreement and Data Processing Addendum rather than by this Policy.

12. Children’s Privacy

Our Site and Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

13. Third-Party Links

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites and services that we do not operate or control. This Policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy notices of any third-party sites you visit.
